#23. Go to a Jazz café

This one was fun. It failed the first time around because Laura and I unknowingly headed to a 21+ jazz spot which failed, but a few weeks later we found another place (Cafe 322 in Santa Anita area) with Jack Sheldon’s California Cool Quartet. I had no clue who Jack Sheldon was at first, but after some Google Searches, turns out he’s pretty well known. He originally did the voice of the ‘Bill’ in the School House Rock video, “I’m Just a Bill.” He’s pushing 80 now but plays the trumpet like a 20 year old. That was cool to see.
